With 37 years in alternative dispute resolution, Alan is one of the most experienced leaders in the industry. As founder, he built one of the largest and most successful ADR companies in the country. Alan is known for his keen eye for neutral talent and his skill in practice development, and few people understand the business as completely as he does. His relationships across the legal community run deep, built over decades of earning trust and delivering results. As CEO of Absolute Dispute Solutions, Alan leads a firm built on integrity and responsiveness, with a commitment to elevating the Absolute Standard in dispute resolution.

Alan also serves on the boards of Project Youth OC and Alzheimer’s Orange County. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him cheering in the stands at a professional game or enjoying a great live concert. He and his wife have two grown children, one in New York City and one in Newport, and family time is always a highlight.

With 16 years of experience in the alternative dispute resolution industry, Andy is passionate about building meaningful client relationships grounded in genuine, human connection. He believes that truly understanding each client’s unique needs is the foundation of every successful partnership. Outside of work, Andy enjoys traveling, running, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter. He brings that same curiosity, energy, and personal approach to every client he works with.

Catalina spent 25 years with the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, where she worked alongside 15 Presiding Judges and the entire Superior Court bench. She was a trusted partner to judicial leadership, contributing to strategic planning, case management, policy development, and public affairs during years of growth and change at one of the state’s largest courts.

As Community Engagement Liaison, Catalina led the court’s civic education and outreach efforts, earning recognition from the Judicial Council of California for establishing Orange County as a statewide leader in judicial outreach.

After two years in private ADR, Catalina now brings that rare combination of courthouse insight and dispute resolution experience to Absolute Dispute Solutions. She manages matters across a wide range of practice areas, including complex litigation, personal injury, family law, employment, probate, construction defect, and medical malpractice.

She is bilingual, allowing her to communicate seamlessly with a broader range of parties and clients. Erin helps keep operations at Absolute Dispute Solutions running smoothly. With a background in marketing, leadership development, and project management, she brings a unique blend of creative thinking, strategic problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail to the team. Known for anticipating needs, proactively addressing challenges, and keeping the moving pieces organized, Erin ensures that every detail is handled with care.

With 15 years in alternative dispute resolution, Kirstin understands every stage of the process, from the details of day-to-day case administration to leading teams and shaping how cases are managed. That experience has built a reputation for organization, responsiveness, and a calm, steady approach that anticipates problems before they arise. Margo brings 35 years of experience in the alternative dispute resolution industry, including more than 24 years in case management. She served as director of a medical negligence practice group, working with some of the industry’s leading neutrals on complex, high-stakes cases. That experience gave her a deep understanding of the care, precision, and attention to detail that sensitive matters require. At Absolute Dispute Solutions, Margo brings that same expertise and steady guidance to every case she manages, so that clients and neutrals alike can count on a smooth and well-run process.

Melissa has spent 18 years in alternative dispute resolution, working at both boutique and well-known ADR firms. Along the way, she’s worn many hats, from case management and operations to marketing and business development, and has come to know the business, and the people it serves, from every angle. Melissa holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute, and now brings that experience and care to Absolute Dispute Solutions.
